I'm Kat,  book editor, specialising in genres that cover sex, sleuths, swords and spaceships. Based in central Scotland, accepting work from all over the world.

 

I am enthusiastic, approachable, creative and efficient. I love reading, always have, and feel very lucky to have a job that allows me to give stories the wings that will allow them to soar. Together, we will make your story the best that it can be.​

As a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (the CIEP), I am bound by their Code of Practice. I am trained in proofreading and copy-editing by the SfEP (the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, now the CIEP) and Chapterhouse, and I have a TEFL qualification to assist in my work with ESL authors.
